Careers at Archibald

This half term we have had two wonderful opportunities to share careers with our children. During Early Years Sharing week, some amazing grown-ups shared their skills with us.  We had Zoe from KPop Demon Hunters, dragon boat racing, environmental work, a teddy bear hospital, pilates and poetry.  This inspired lots of super conversations.

In Year 4, we held our first careers fair with former pupils coming to talk about their career path since Archibald and how what they wanted to be when they left Archibald had changed.  It again prompted lots of great careers discussions as well as lots of conversations about how school had changed.  

We are so grateful to our volunteers for giving up their time and will be doing both sharing week and our careers fair next year.  Next year we are hoping for even more opportunties including Careers based Family Learning and a Business fair with the support of Gosforth Central.
