Year 1 Castle Trip

Year 1 have had a fabulous trip to the castle! We explored the Castle Keep and found out all about the past. We enjoyed going to see the dungeons, the moat and even climbing all the way to the top! 

During our workshop we found out about the different foods they would have eaten at a banquet. We made plates of food out of playdough and then re-enacted a Royal Banquet. It was great fun dressing up in clothes and using all of their props to help us. We had a food taster and couldn't believe that someone had poisoned the food! Into the pillory for them! We threw food at them as well. Look at all our fabulous costumes!
