Roles and Responsibilities

In school, our children are given the opportunity to take on a range of roles. This supports the children to develop and feel the core quality of responsibility within our school.

The roles give the children the opportunity to use their voice, to advocate on behalf of their peers, to see that their actions matter and that they can make a positive difference.

Supporting children's understanding of democracy, we elect children for responsibilities around school such as being a member of the school council.

These roles also offer our older children the opportunity to be a role model for the younger children while in turn providing valuable opportunities for younger children to learn from and be inspired by their older peers.
