World Thinking Day is celebrated on 22nd February by the Girl Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Cubs, Beavers and Scouts. It is a day when they think about others all around the world.
This year the Scouts and Guiding Association approached us to ask if the children could mark the occasion by coming into school wearing their uniforms. In return the children were asked for a donation of £2 to go towards Daft as a Brush. We thought this was an excellent idea as Daft as a Brush is the chosen charity for the Gosforth School’s Trust too!
The children looked very smart in their uniforms and wore them with pride!
